Good to see hemp products promoted - politics and building materials is a strange combination along with plant profiling - "Well, you look like pot so we can't let you in." I live in Iowa - hemp grows thick on the fence rows but you can't grow it legally. Everything about it is better than corn and beans but its introduction "threatens" established, very large businesses. It needs about nothing in the way of chemical inputs and its good for the soil - actually increases yields in traditional row crops the year after it has been planted in those fields, the seed is very healthy, makes better paper than wood, makes strong lightweight building products, far better for the soil than cotton and the roots hold the soil while loosening it up. If a plant were designed to have only positive attributes this would be it. Why is it not legal to grow?

Just so you know, you can't hide pot in a hemp field - they use spectography to find pot growers - the pot shows up bright red no matter what it is planted in.
