I have a small chair in the corner of the room they go on and under. The two large europillows are stacked on the floor. If I didn't have the chair, they'd be stacked on the floor. When I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with our bedroom I thought all those pillows looked like a huge pain but after a while I noticed all the pictures I really liked of beds had LOTS of pillows. I went for it and don't mind moving them around every day.

Ah ha!! Gotcha : ) Here it is a bit smaller, and then a distant shot of the first, larger one. Now I'm thinking the larger one is fine and has more presence and definition. Maybe in between? I tried some of those curved iron accents I've seen at ending positions or posts (but can't remember the details, so it just shows the general look.) And, ya know, a piece of gray flagstone on top of those columns and even across the wall looks great and ties nicely with the roof and drive. I would think you could fit the moulding piece around the gutter area, hiding it. As a front cap sort of thing. It's a design problem to work out : ) Have to figure any water issues in. Do you have a closeup or drawing of the area, how the pieces and planes are currently fitting together? Should pull a distant shot of the larger size in also.

Then you can bring in coordinating pillows that might be the same pillows you use on your couch that tie everything together. I really recommend something hard wearing because people often curl up on window seats and put their feet up there (and critters like them too). I've had great luck with microsuede and indoor/outdoor fabrics for the cushions and pillows on my kitchen banquette.

Thanks, Porter! Definitely appreciate all your help and NOT trying to ignore your suggestions, promise! I feel like the fur pillow is just not really my style. And I love the darker teal colored pillows but feel they look too dark when in I put them in the room. Wish I could have you come see the room in person! I sometimes feel like the photos don't reflect accurately. :/ i definitely agree that I need a lumbar or two in the mix in a neutral color, just need to find the perfect one in the perfect color! I promise once I do I will take the geometric print pillow off the couch! I just feel like it needs more than a couple pillows since it's so big! (Also had a thought... that floral pattern pillow I have comes in a lumbar - possibility?) ok so earlier today I bought a third blue pillow and cream/tan throw blanket at C&B, and I bought an off white throw blanket at Pier 1. Looking at the throw only (since the pillows are still a work on progress), which do you like better? here's the C&B throw... its cream with tan along the edges and tassels on the ends. Super soft... And here's the Pier 1 throw... I'd say this is more of an off white/oatmeal, not as much cream... it also has tassels on the end... Thoughts? And are the three blue pillows too much blue?
