Exterior paint colors that are complimentary with an orange brown roof
Comments (10)Cholebud, I've never been a fan of any green but I do like the way both of your photos look. I'm going to home depot today to get some color swatches. I'll look into the green sage colors as well as some blues and grays like the roof wizard suggested. Whatever color we finally choose, I'll definitely pair it with white trim. I love that crisp clean look and it's perfect for a small cottage. Wish me luck and feel free to send more colors if you come up with anything!! :)...See MoreHELP, my roof is red/orange. Comments (2)The first thing I would do is lose the shutters on the windows to the far right and far left. They are much too small. Second thing would be to get rid of the orange/salmon color around the windows. You already stated that you don't like the roof and that color around the windows is just drawing the eye to it. Are you planning to replace the roof? If so, a weathered gray/tan color would look a lot better. Can't tell if the brick has been painted or not. I'm not a fan of painting brick so if it hasn't been painted I would look for a color to paint the siding that "tones down" the brick color. A medium taupe would look good. Comments (16)Maybe Repose Gray, Krypton or Folkstone, but you'd have to check with sample cans. The way they look on my screen with the brick/mortar could be deceiving. Krypton could be a bit too gray. Portrait Tone and Decorous Amber both lean a little too orange, unless that's what you want. Can you post a better picture of the metal security doors? Offhand I'd say you don't want them to be a different color than the door...if they have to stay. It would be nice if someone here could do some mockups for you. I'm not good with that....See MoreUser
