Comments (1)I changed out the copper line that was feeding my ice maker with one of the steel coil wrapped ones available at HD. It is just like the ones recommended for the washer lines. My copper line leaked as did the first plastic one I attempted to replace the leaky copper one with. Steel wrapped one has not leaked yet....See MoreBeazer homes-facing credit problems, etc
Comments (1)I live in a Beazer neighborhood and needless to say we are building a custom home so we can get out. They are not built particularly well at all!! Beazer is in trouble for predatory lending practices, lots of people have been defaulting on their loans because of the balloon payments. We had a family down the street move out in the middle of the night and the bank took the house. Too sad!!...See More27/m. problem with intimacy, kissing, etc
Comments (3)I'm not a doctor and dont know your past,so it's hard for me to really say,but it just sounds as though you have lost interest. Every relationship tends to "cool" off after a year or so.The begining is always wonderful with lots of sex and chemistry is high. Then we get comfortable and things settle down.We have to have other things to keep us interested besides just sex or we grow apart. Maybe the relationship isnt stimulating enough for you mentally. So you lose interest. Not sure if I'd call that an intimacy problem? Since this is a marriage forum, ask any one of us who have been married for a long time, and we will tell you that it takes CONSTANT work to stay interested.Marriage is a job,and if neglected, like any job,it falls apart. But because we are married and many of us have kids,we have many reasons to keep it together. I'm wondering if you still expect things to be as they were when you first met your girlfriend? For that "new" feeling to stay.Because that feeling will always fade.If you expect it to always feel like that, then no relationship will last for you that long. You have to do things to make it "like new" again. Maybe you are just still not ready to settle down yet though? 27 is not that old, maybe you have wild oats to sow? Everyone matures at a different rate. If you really suspect you have a intimacy problem, then getting counseling would be your best bet before getting involved with anyone else....See MorePreparing to list starter home w/o dishwasher etc.: how big a problem?
Comments (11)This is another thing that's totally specific to the market IMHO- my neighb is urban, quite gentrified by now but still kinda funky/artsy and still has a bit of a working class feel to it. Neither dishwashers or garbage disposals are essential around here - and the contemporary ss/granite/white cabinet kitchen so ubiquitous here on Gardenweb is.... except maybe in the newer condos and apartment bldgs.... not really the norm. Youll see them but your more likely to see 90s kitchens, 70s kitchens, 50s kitchens - and many that defy categorization altogether`! But if you were over on the other side of town in other more upscale neighborhoods then the kitchen expectations are different. Yeah I agree with above - is there an online local real estate website you can search by neighborhood - those really can give you a good idea of what the norm is at different prices and in different neighborhoods. Try to meet expectations .... but no point in over-improving either....See Moremtvhike
