Comments (6)I have no knowledge of the paint you are looking for but just want to say how much I like your house and yard!! Beautiful! I would like having the porch and trim a different color from the body of the house. The gray goes really well with the white. If you are going for a more monochromatic look, maybe paint the trim and porch a really pale shade of gray?...See MoreFront Exterior and Entrance Ideas Needed for Small House
Comments (7)what do people think of something like this (but not quite as heavy/large in appearance) across the top of the windows on the side of the house...either in white or stained wood to give that side some dimension. Also considering hiding the trash cans under the front deck in an accessible area where a door can be made and they can be slid out. Would like to bump out that deck a ways and expand it, maybe have a couple chairs and a small table sitting to the right of the door with some black metal art above it in that empty space by the front door....See Moreold stone house - need help w color selections for siding and trim
Comments (11)What’s behind door number 1? Sorry, couldn’t help it. Lovely house, it only feels stark because there are no foundation plantings. I’d pull a color out of the stone or grout and use that. And why go to all the expense of replacing siding that does not need replacing? Siding takes paint well. I need to go back and look at the front porch, but you can use some color on the front porch (seating, rug, planters, etc) and then use one of the porch colors on the side doors....See MoreOriginal Stone fireplace in narrow entry… she needs love
Comments (10)Your home has some great features and the bench is very nice but I agree with Rosefolly, it's width is constricting the turn into the living room and making the entry feel more narrow. Replacing it with a more narrow console table, and a mirror or artwork above will look nice from the living room and when entering. Add a runner at the door. This may be a controversial suggestion but if replacing the peel and stick with actual wood isn't an option right now, consider getting a peel and stick that looks like your wood which will make it flow better and feel larger. If you remove the bench, try putting it on the window wall next to the fireplace and add a coordinating rug to create a small seating group. Either get a larger coordinating rug for the sectional area or try turning it, it looks a little small and adding a console under the TV will fill in that wall....See MoreCelery.
