Comments (32)Thank you, thank you, everyone. I went to Amanda's on Saturday, the kids and I played on the Slip N Slide while Elery fried a turkey and Amanda and mother made fruit salad and potatoes. Makayla and I planted 6 strawberry plants in her raised garden bed and Madi splashed in the water. We had lemon cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. Of course, first I had to walk that mile of fence because I had a short where the deer had run through. Darned things, they can jump 8 feet or something, but they never jump the fence, they go through, no matter how many markers I put on the wire so they can see it. Grrr. Rats on hooves, I need to eat more of them. I finished planting the garden, putting in two dozen sweet potato plants, so that fills up my half acre of tilled soil. Comments (57)Thanks salonva! Yes I have...had?...a broken ankle...it'll be 7 weeks tomorrow. So I'm 98% better. I can almost walk down steps without any twinges. But I've been walking and barre and yoga pretty much as before. I've found I've got to work to get to where I was on balance yet, and side planks are still difficult. But I'm getting there.
