So far today I've been carrying old paint cans up from the basement, the County is having their "hazardous waste" clean up on Saturday. I've made coffee, returned some pop cans, weeded the herb garden. Elery is in Jackson picking up some more of his clothes and garage stuff. Yes indeed, the party is going wild here in White Cloud. (grin) We'll have a cookout on Saturday, here at my house. Dave's birthday was the 22nd. Elery and I had an anniversary on the 10th, Ashley's anniversary was the 17th, Elery's son Chris had a birthday on the 24th and Ashley's birthday is June 6. We're having one big cookout and then they're going to help me uncover the pool. We do know how to celebrate here... Party on, dudes and dudettes, and especially my almost, kind of close to, sort of, birthday twin, dedtired. Annie

Thank you, thank you, everyone. I went to Amanda's on Saturday, the kids and I played on the Slip N Slide while Elery fried a turkey and Amanda and mother made fruit salad and potatoes. Makayla and I planted 6 strawberry plants in her raised garden bed and Madi splashed in the water. We had lemon cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. Of course, first I had to walk that mile of fence because I had a short where the deer had run through. Darned things, they can jump 8 feet or something, but they never jump the fence, they go through, no matter how many markers I put on the wire so they can see it. Grrr. Rats on hooves, I need to eat more of them. I finished planting the garden, putting in two dozen sweet potato plants, so that fills up my half acre of tilled soil. It was a good day, doing lots of things I like! Annie

RR, I got a ladder last year and a wheel barrow the year before that. I could ask for kitchen stuff but because Elery likes to cook, he already has all that stuff and he brings it to my house. (grin) Our latest "acquisition" is a Cuisinart rotisserie, he just finished 35 years with his employer and they let employees pick gift/bonuses from a catalog based on their years of employment. It was one of the bonuses, so it'll be coming here pretty soon, LOL. So I can ask for fence and still play with the cooking stuff, double bonus! Annie
