AnnT, it doesn't seem like that long ago I was turning 50, just getting divorced, wasn't sure which way to turn. Now, 8 years later, look at all that has happened. I've found Elery, remarried, retired, we're selling one house, building another, lost my Dad, gained a couple more grandkids. Life is crazy and good.

Yes, Jude, I'm definitely over 50, but not old enough for Social Security yet, as has been discussed, LOL.

Sally, we're having a cookout on Saturday. Here. So yes, it appears that I will be baking my own birthday cake. Good enough, I get to choose the flavor that way! My SIL david had a birthday on the 22nd, stepson Christ on the 24th. Ashley's is June 6, mine is today. Elery and I had our 5th anniversary on May 10, Ashley's 2nd was May 17. Lots of celebrating to do, plus a pool to uncover while I have all those bodies to help!

Oh yes, Annie, lemonade would be better for them than soft drinks. It still has sugar in it, but at least not all of the other things sodas have in them. I do drink soda, but I never turn down a glass of lemonade. I'm happy to hear that my Gram's recipe is well liked by your grandchildren :-). Sounds like you need that new beverage container I got from Ginny's lol.
