Should we match laundry tile to bathroom? What flooring for bedrooms?

We are finishing our basement. Second photo is of finished upstairs. I read about the rule of 3 meaning that you shouldn’t be able to see anymore than 3 styles of floor at any one place in the home. To accomplish this in the basement, we would have to match our unfinished bathroom floor to our unfinished laundry. *The brick floor is being torn out and replaced with tile* We are not doing the same style tile as in the upstairs bathroom. The problem with the unfinished basement is that the laminate we did throughout upstairs was discontinued. We were able to get just enough to do the family room and hall (pictured) of the basement. So now we will have to bring in a different laminate for the 2 basement bedrooms (one of which is directly across the bathroom pictured). Should we put whatever tile we do in the bathroom in the laundry room? Should we try to match the existing laminate for the bedrooms or could we safely do an obviously different laminate?
