what color should I paint my bathroom?
Comments (18)How old is your house. If I get stuck I try to choose colors that would have been used when my house was built. Or you can go with those of a later remodel. For example I dont want an 1850's kitchen to match my house so Im pretending like it was remodeled in the 1920's. Still old but much more cook friendly. LOL. I see two ways to go with your bath. One would be to paint it a white that goes wth the tile. Then get your pops of color from your towels and accessories. Advantage would be easy redecorating. The other way would be to go with a contrasting color on the walls. You can go a little more crazy in a small room than you would in a large one. Lemon yellow, hot pink, cobalt blue, kelly green, cherry red, turquoise, apple green. If it were me I would use one of my accent colors from the adjacent room. That way it would go with the other room but not look like an extension....See MoreWhat color should I paint my bathroom?
Comments (16)maybe ben moore candle white? its lighter than beige, a little pink,. but still in the beige comfort zone. I wouldn't worry too much about the floor. looks pretty small? a soft rug will cover most of it. do look at the lighting, and framing the mirror, as beth suggested. you probably already are......See MoreWhat colour should I paint bathroom cabinet doors and drawer fronts?
Comments (8)Leanne had another post going on this too -- you know how Houzz can be sometimes. Since she posted her pictures here, I brought over her other info so we could have it all together: Here's what Leanne wrote in the other post (a little more info than above): We have recently changed out the cabinet hardware, vanity lights, counters, and flooring in our ensuite. We will eventually paint the walls and replace the builder grade mirror with round mirrors over the sinks. I would like to paint the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and facings since the original tan colour now looks rather dated. What colour would you choose? =)...See MoreWhat color paint should I go with for my new bathroom?
Comments (9)Stunning tile choices and lovely wood. (Agree I wouldn't want to clean those tiles, but luckily *I* won't have to, you will!) I agree to wait unit most of it is in place and then purchase large samples from Samplize and hold them up around the room. Jan nailed it - cozy, moody can be super chill. What you are putting together is a really high end look and you are not going to find good examples of it on Houzz. Look through inspiration pics onArchitectural Digest, 1st Dibs, and Galerie. Look at Farrow and Ball paint samples, even if you don't end up using that brand. They are good inspiration for nice saturated colors. I think a deep plum color would be beautiful in your space....See MoreKuyaariel
