Comments (6)Thank you so much for taking the time to weigh in, I appreciate it!! The google results you and I got aren’t really accurate. For example, one of those homes is espresso I believe but the article it links to mentions castle stone. Also there are quite a few builders and stone companies that use castle stone as their name so it gets mixed into the results. I was really hoping someone on here used on their own home or project so I could get an accurate photo. I was not happy with the design company, I noticed that on the windows too. But I was hoping they just plugged something in there and then when I meet with the window people I can choose the real style. For the returns, I’m wondering if it’s the same as the window situation, not a 100% realistic view. Thinking the custom builder must use his own style on the returns? I’m a first timer here, I’ve never built a home so I’m not really sure of the entire process! Thank you again!...See MoreRoof Color to go with CertainTeed Seagrass Vinyl Siding
Comments (1)Seagrass is a pretty color, it will look nice. Personally I like more brown tones with greens but that's me. Is it possible to do the siding and then select the roof color? That way you'll be able to see the siding in your own light and test out roof samples with it. Here's a few Seagrass images I found with a google search. The first is more tan, the second more gray. Both look nice. Removing the awning would update the look of the house. Not sure of your budget, but adding a porch is a pricey addition. Between siding and roofing, it's going to be a big budget project when the porch roof and rail are added but it looks like a nice home so might be worth the investment. Are you locked into Certainteed for roofing? Here's some Owens Corning roofing with your siding. Their website is a lot easier to navigate and you can upload your home and try different things out. Perhaps Certainteed has the same thing but I found their site a little clunky. Try the visualizer on Certainteed and do a combo of the siding and the roofing options. If you do remove the awing, it's likely aluminum. Take it to a metal recycling place and get the $$ for it. Don't send it to the landfill....See MoreRelated Professionals
