Help me choose my garage door & front door color please?
Comments (6)I'm no expert but I think you're right, you probably want to keep the garage door matched closely to the brick around it so you don't highlight the garage. I think the bright white on the front door looks nice but maybe to make to stand out more a different color would be fun, but yeah, not red, lol! Ok, I'm no help but hopefully my comment will bump it up....See Morefront door color help to go with stone (see picture)
Comments (30)Thank you Beth such fantastic suggestions. I have really struggled as we wanted to keep structure of the house - both bc was well made and had character (like brick and stone) and also because I despise creating waste so did not want to knock down whole house BUT when we started this I would have never guessed what a challenge it would be to pick things that worked with both brick, hardie plank siding added and stone work. The door was one of final pieces and I am so relieved it is all coming together to still reflect character to house but not look like we made a mistake by renovating instead of tearing down....See MoreCOLOR COMBINATIONS: Owens Corning Roof & Certainteed Siding
Comments (1)Is there a siding color you like more than the others? I think I'd choose my siding color first and then a shingle color to match. Black and gray shingles will go with everything....See MoreNeed your advice on front door color (and maybe siding too)
Comments (3)If it was my house this is what I would do. I would remove the shutters, paint the siding, trim and pergola in a dark gray to make the stone stand out. I would also paint the window frames in black and install a wood front door to match the garage door. In your photo we can't see a sconce nor house numbers so I would install nice black large ones. I don't know what the chimney is made of, looks perhaps like bricks so I would paint that in a colour to match the stone. The landscaping can also be improved for more curb appeal....See MoreCelery.
