I am new to Onedrive and trying to decide how I should use it.

I have a computer at work and one at home and I would like to access docs on both computers from both places.

I currently use drop box for this purpose. I also use carbonite as a tool to back up my home docs to the cloud. i would like to replace both carbonite and drop box with Onedrive.

Is it an option, and would it make sense to move existing docs from both computers to one drive and delete them from my hard drives so as to eliminate confusion?

Can I save new docs to Onedrive without ever saving them to either hard drive?

Is there any downside to doing this? Thanks
