Need help choosing roof color
Comments (9)Roof color availability varies by region so you'll need to find out what's available in your area. You can go to the GAF site and upload the pic of your house and try on different roofing colors. But beyond that, the look will vary based on the shingle depth, shapes, and color variations within the shingles. I agree that looking at other roofs is a big help. We've had people stop and ask us what's on our house, so if you see something you really like, you might just ask....See MoreNeed help with roof color, siding and trim color and window trim updat
Comments (5)The window trim change would be to Craftsman style. Unless you are doing the work yourself it seems a lot of expense for little difference on upstairs windows. It would, however, be extremely easy to do on your front door as you would only need to change the top board. And you could replace the side lights with solid wood inserts, or you could use textured glass that would obscure the view while still letting light in. While the limestone exterior is very light it has a yellow hue. Simply speaking the easiest way to find colors that work with the warm limestone is to choose a nearby color. That was probably why the trim is green. Since you prefer a modern look, I suggest you keep your siding light and use color only in the trim. Below are two combinations that I like. I darkened the roof color in these pictures....See MoreNeed help with roof color
Comments (4)have no idea what those roof colors look like, so post a pic. Nevermind, I did the work and looked them up. this is burnt sienna. It's very varigated and is going to compete w/your driveway pattern. Weathered wood on the left. works w/your house color, clashes w/your driveway. Because of your driveway, it would be best if you got one solid color roof tile. can you do a clay tile? Do you have plans on painting the stucco in the future? Much better colors to work w/your driveway. because of that driveway color, your stucco, or at the minimum your garage doors, should have a diff color. your driveway pavers are somewhat driving the color bus. you'll have to pick roof tiles that word w/those, as well as the stucco color. I actually like this combo. Timberline Wheat, with better colors for the house....See MoreNeed help choosing roofing/siding/colors for house with Mansard roof
Comments (7)No brown roof on that house. It wont look good with the brick. The charcoal color it is now, is perfect, and I would redo it with the same color it is. No, dont paint the brick. Why take something maintenance free and turn it into maintenance. The shutters could be a bit darker than wht they are. I agree with above, your house right now is perfect for the style of the house. Do not muddle up, what already works very well. Put your money on something else, or just bank it and enjoy what you already have, which is a very well done exterior....See MoreFeatherBee
