Channel Grates for your bathroom shower
Comments (3)Even if you change nothing other than the drain - you will change the look of your bathroom renovation for sure. Just instead of a $12.00 part you order a $500 - $2,000 one. I have seen curbless showers built by the best in the business and still maybe a $100.00 Schulter Drain is the best that is done. If your bathroom renovation is going to cost say $60,000.00 all in - is it that important for you to save say $600.00 and have a end cost of $59,400.00? I have built many beautiful bathrooms with Schulter's drain and they sparkle. I wish I knew what I know now - then... These drains can be installed with your same old wood curb. Your same old rubber liner. Same old mud job. but the end look is much nicer. There are stock 2" Cast Iron flange drains that can be installed tight to the wall and nothing else changes. Or you can go into more modern installs - or hybrid installs. Find your local expert in Waterproofing. Start the ball rolling; you need to learn how to do this yourself or find the crew that can pull off this look. This look that is winning every show these days it seams. The linear shower drain look... Today we started repairing another bathroom butchered by some "Young Solidiers" in over their heads on a River Rock Curbless Shower. Me and the "BAD Boys" got half way through the repairs today and have our "Sparky" and Electrian coming tomorrow....See Moreurgent, your prayers thoughts energy and light needed
Comments (34)fourkids, What a very, very kind offer. I will email you if/ when that can happen. They will message me thru my son. Yes Ian is still in Baltimore at Mercy. If you go to telesmaband.com there is a link to donate to Ian. A trust fund has been set up.Or you can also go to the Telesma page to read all about Ian and his progress and the link is there. The band has decided to play without Ian at the Spoutwood Farm May Day Festival in PA. It is May 5 and 6. They had planned on releasing their new album there, and now any proceeds to Telesma will go to the trust fund for Ian. They are asking all who love Ian to come and help them all heal. I hope to go on Sunday. Yesterday he was in a wheelchair outside for a bit,was able to eat a bit of applesauce, and ice chips- his throat is extrememly sore from the weeklong intubation. The chair was uncomfortable for him. Just think, when he was brought to hospital a week ago Friday, they were unable to revive him, but tried once more! Those ED docs and his two friends that gave him CPR immediately- saved his life. like I said before, i am going to get recertified in CPR- even though it has only been a year. Thank you all for your continued prayers!...See Morehow much does replacing windows save in energy costs?
Comments (21)Hey G!! sorry to hear about your knee..but glad you are on the mend. I think we got your summer...it was a hot one, but I prefer heat to cold, last winter...was pure hell for me. I've always been allergic, but like wasp stings the poison ivy reaction seems to get worse as I age. I swear all I have to do is look at it wrong..and it includes sumac, poison oak & just about every thing with leaves of three & red stems. being a yardie (new to me term for yard junkie) and living in the woods fighting these things is a neverending job. I must have gotten hold of some roots in one of the flower beds. and with our crazy weather last winter...I even got it in feburary. so whats the deal with the roof? doing a cool roof or something complex? or just having trouble with weather cooperating? sounds like you have perfect weather to get it done this weekend...just be careful up there! do you still have those wonderfully explained igu windows 101 posts from the building forum? I'd like to share them on another forum...maybe in general discussion part of the site as other areas are locked to the publc. I'd really like to get them into the building science forum...but its only for pro members...you wouldn't have an epa card by any chance?? anyway let me know. and again...great to hear from you. take care....See MoreCoal energy. Comments (9)If only I could have 1/3 of my granddaughters energy I would get so much done. We have our 2 granddaughters overnight every Tuesday. We take them to a fast food that has a playground for dinner in the winter. We get to relax and they get to burn off some energy. With summer coming we will be able to go to the playground or swimming at the lake. We are going to try fishing with them this summer, but I don't know how long that will last with a 3 and 5 year old....See More- 7 years ago
