I know,I know I seem like a computer dummy,need help AGAIN

I don'tknow how this has happened, but I have FrostWire on my computer, it is turned off. BUT, when I try to play audio from another site, and I turn the volume up, the songs on FrostWire are playing. I simply cannot find the song that is playing in the library, I know that I did download it, but I cannot seem to find it and turn it off. I "X" out of fronswire and the music is still playing. How can I shut the darn thing OFF. TIA. P.K.

Have you a good Restore point? If not, check out RKILL to see about stopping malware that will stop virus checkers from working.

If it was up to me, I would delete EVERYTHING that you acquired thru Frostwire, and then uninstall Frostwire completely. I'd then run Malwarebytes , ESET online scan and every other antimalware tool you can. If you still have trouble, find a computer shop and pay them to clean it up.

Frostwire might be a useful tool for some, but if all you are looking for is free music then there are a multitude of ways to get it that carry little or no risk. Frostwire itself may be safe, but many who use it are not to be trusted. If you don't know how to protect yourself, you're better off to leave it alone.

Prune hybrid roses but not Old Garden Roses right now and not young ( under 3 ) OGRs . This is certainly debatable and a personal preference for each rosarian . No pruning of perennials for several months !! Last year taught us that some plants return from the dead and return better than ever . Annuals and veggies are an entirely different matter . Those tomato and cucumber plants will probably not return no matter how long we wait .

Thank you, Iowagirl. By using copy and paste, I was at least able to separate the folders that I'd inadvertently combined thinking that I'd get all individual pics into one folder. Instead, I got 3 folders put into 1 folder. Sheesh! I have Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 I think my problem is that when I click to open My Pictures folders, they open into Adobe Photoshop, and I can't seem to copy and paste from that. It wasn't that way until I started messing with Adobe PS, but I don't remember how they opened. I think it was Windows Fax and Viewer. ( Is that what it's called?) Can you tell me how to reset where my folders open? Whatever I had before was easier for me to work with. TIA again, Leslie/KS

I'm sorry, but this time you lost me back at the bakery, er, I mean pantry. I know you need to nail down these last minute switcheroozies before Thursday's install, Sylvia, but without seeing a layout drawing from where you're starting, there can only be guessing. I also recognize that your descriptions and explanations sound perfectly clear to you but that's because you know what you are looking at, people here do not. It's truly amazing your contractor is still allowing changes this late in the game. He has so little leadtime left. Sounds like he's one heck of a guy in the customer satisfaction area. Lucky you!

I couldn't leave this for uncertainty, I want to put a final comment so people can learn as I did, First I want to send many thanks to all of you especially Jemdandy, I have learned a lot from your comment, was really honest positive and very informative. 2nd, for these unique two baltic amber necklaces, it turns out that they are copal necklaces not as I bought them, I have contacted a really good russian amber dealer and sent him the photos, he told me that he thinks that it is copal and told the only test would show the difference between amber and copal not ultraviolet test not salt water floating test, but is the hot needle test smell, and here it goes, I did it and compared the smell of genuine amber, and it very difficult, it is copal, I hope other people would learn from this like me, thanks all.
