Don't know if i made right decision again, can someone help?

Sorry I must be hogging this board but eveyone has been so helpful in time of need. And I need help fast before installation this coming Thursday.

Last time I wrote, I decided on a peninsula 32 by 56 inches, counter height, with a 6 inch overhang. This would be based on a 36 inch corner cabinet attached to an 18 inch cabinet- both 24 inch depth.

If by chance I change this and have a corner cabinet attached to an 18 inch cabinet - both 12 inch depth instead, I could use a 26 inch wide peninsula with a 12 inch overhang.

What would you suggest? If I do the latter, it would be a mismatch because where the corner cabinet starts, the pantry will be 24 inch depth.

Can anyone follow what I am trying to say?
