Comments (20)YES! my first was an 88 mercedes - named "sadie" Next came the yellow ford escape - "sunny" Then was a mini van that I called - "Big and Bold" I drove the van in place of my P.O.S. red volvo that didnt have ac and was an awful unattractive faded red color. So naturally I called her - "Red Hot" And finally I have a nice car, and 08 Corolla S - Yet to be named! Hubby's car is a brown volvo wagon, so Brownie is its name. My car is a bright yellow Ford Scion named Tweety. Comments (13)Ah, yes! they were bittersweet times during World War 2. You wouldn't remember the songs, but we had Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and great orchestras. The ballrooms were beautiful, the orchestra members wore suits, the girl singers wore pretty dresses. We girls dressed in our best, most of the men were in uniform.
