I have a potential problem coming to "The kitchen table".

I clicked here to start a discussion telling my story, wrote the particulars. Where to post?

Looked at the long list - "The kitchen table" WAS NOT THERE!

What to do?

Three choices - I posted at "The old house", "Tool shed" and "Tractors", so those the only places to find my story. I hope you can help me come up with a solution.

If so, once you put the title of the thread, the next instruction is to give details, the next instruction is to pick where you want it posted.

the Kitchen table should already be marked (see above)……no need to go through the list.

Just enter. And post.

Yes - roxsolid’s info is how I do posts to kitchen table. I have to be IN the forum to be able to post to it & once I write it out & go to next instruction the kitchen table forum is already included with my post & I can pick 2 more forums if I want. It’s a quirkiness about Kitchen Table that it’s not listed in the choice of forums to pick.

The copy was too small to read on my phone, I expanded it a bit and used a magnifying glass but it was too fuzzy to read well, but I think that itits it's the heading at the top left.

Last night I looked through the list of topics and could not find the K T anywhere.

I've had two links to Houzz on Yahoo, one with several topics, the other only "The kitchen table". If that failed, would I be banished, as I could not find it listed anywhere on the list of topics?

Then I remembered that long ago I came by putting "ths..gardenweb..com" as the address. But then I wondered whether the "ths" would be a deterent, as it appears that the "Home Forum" is no longer in use.

Definitely check the URL and make sure it's 'gardenweb.com', not 'houzz.com' - if it's houzz, you can select/highlight and replace that with gardenweb.

I had a similar issue last weekend with trying to add The Garden Party forum to a post - it was nowhere to be found, but when I start a post, all I have to do is type 'party' and it comes up.

It seems there are multiple versions of this site, and usernames can be different, depending on which version you're viewing/using. If you have the right password, you can try logging off and re-signing in with the correct credentials. I've had to do that before, since there's apparently a membership for me here through my Google account.

Clicking 'follow' on a forum will add it the shortcuts sidebar under 'Your Topics'

Important to remember that The Kitchen Table is under the “T’s”.

Tsug made a very good hint. I'd say the same thing in making a coconunt cream pie. Meringues take whites, cream pies take yolks.

So the answer is Separated (or parted) which would also work for the answer
