Comments (23)Hi Celeste; Good to hear from you and you have a new grandson.I sure do hop the worse is behind me with this wrist.I was cooking a pot of peas this afternoon and forgot and picked the pot up with my right hand,and the pain was horrible.I just almost dropped that pot of peas on the floor, but, managed to grab it with the other hand and just spilled a little of them.Will you be taking any pictures of your snow? Comments (7)Sidnee, I have some advice or at least something to keep in mind for future reference. Unless you bought the fat quarter bundles at a very good sale price, you can ~usually~ do better, price-wise, by purchasing a half yard (=2 fat quarters) or a full yard (=4 fat quarters), etc. Now I will admit that I am a sucker for fat quarters & have quite a stash of them, but sometimes (when I am "thinking") I follow my own advice, LOL, & when the urge to buy a fat quarter hits, I will often get a 1/2 yd instead. But of course sometimes a person really only wants a small amount of a particular color/print, so just buying a fat quarter is all you need or want. Looking at fat quarter bundles gives you a good idea of how to mix or pick out the colors that appeal to you, before you proceed to the bolts of fabric. Comments (6)Marianne, for right now in the photo of the balcony you can see I have just a bit of shade cloth on on there where I put the seedlings from about 1-3pm, the hottest time of the days. But the weather is going to be cooling down with time (like this week the highs will be around the mid 80s unlike last week in the 90s) so I am not putting up any more shade cloth. Linda and Sey, unlike the containers I used at my in-laws' roof which were I believe 45 gallon fabric pots, I will be using 20 gallons fabric pots this time around just because of space issues. I wish I had the same Brandywine Sudduths to see the difference in how it grows in the smaller pots :D...See MoreI am back home, mothers condo is going up for sale (long)
Comments (21)What an ordeal for you all! I'm sure you were more than happy to get that behind you and get home! With all the decluttering threads I've been reading lately, I hope everyone (myself included) will read and heed. We're not filled to the gills, but we do need to sort out and get rid of an over-abundance of things so we don't put our kids through this one day. Books we won't ever read again, sentimental things our kids don't want and we don't need, etc. I'm retiring soon and the attack will begin....See More
