Comments (10)When I am alone in the afternoon I make a cup of instant coffee. I mixed the coffee in a mug and apparently put the container of instant coffee in the micro. When I came inside about 4-5 mins later I had the most awful smell of something burning. When I figured it was the micro I couldn't even recognize what was melted in there. I cleaned up the mess and scrubbed forever with windex, vinegar and baking soda. It was improved but still smelled when I used it for about a week. It is completely gone now. I also left the door open for a few hours....See MorePlease, I need help or advice for this..
Comments (4)Hi Sapphires, is this what you have in mind? This is the multidocument figure from MSWord... And this is what I made from it using a pic of my dog... What I did was open MSWord and draw the multidocument figure then copy it and paste it in PSP9. After promoting the Background layer, I selected the white areas and deleted them, leaving only the black outline. Opened a pic of my dog and copied it. Clicked inside the front "document" to select that area and Pasted inside the selection (Edit/Paste/Paste Inside Selection). Copy (that gives you a selection shaped copy). Then Paste as New Layer twice. Make the top picture active and move it to fit inside the lines of the middle "document". Make it invisible. Make the second picture active and move it to fit inside the lines of the last "document". Make all the layers visible. Drag the original layer (with the black outline) to the top of the layer stack and it should look like a stack of pictures. Just make sure the bottom layer has the picture that is farthest back (highest) and the middle layer has the picture that lines up with the middle "document". Drag the original layer with the multidocument image to the top of the layer stack. Clear as mud? You can also do this in MSWord just stacking photos. I haven't found a way to put the photo in a shape like I did in PSP. When you paste photos into MSWord, click on a photo then right click and select Format Picture. Choose the Layout tab and select In Front of Text. This makes the picture "float" and you can move it around. Now do the same thing to the next photo and move it into place. Repeat for all photos. This is what I got... Jill...See MoreI need help on this, please
Comments (3)No succulent should be potted in a container without drainage hole(s). Layering different substrates doesn't solve the potential problem. Ingredients making well draining mix should be of approx. same size, and mixed thoroughly. And your plants are potted way too deep inside of container - creating poor air flow and slightly increasing humidity. On top of that, light on the substrate (thru the glass) will encourage growth of algae. It isn't going to kill your plants, but is unsightly....See MorePlease help ID caterpillar. Comments (7)Iris, what kind of plant are those cats ravaging? The Mexican Sweet Herb is very pretty. I guess you could call it a frogfruit, because it's so closely related. It looks like it would make a nice front of the border, or container plant. Do you get many butterflies on the flowers? Do uou know what species of them are the best as host plants. One side of my house is shaded by Oak, and Cottonwood. Grass won't grow there so I have ferns and Hostas, and there's a few shade loving Carex sedge in there too. I noticed a bunch of little plantains in there, that are tiny because of the dry, hot, weather. I'm going to start watering and fertilizing them for the Buckeyes. When I went to harvest a syriaca stalk tonight, I found yet another Monarch cat on it....See MoreYayagal
