Hi Socks - I set it up myself...well, my six year old son and 12 year old daughter helped a bit...pretty easy. Now, I am definitely not as confident in my ability to get it to pop 'down'...we'll see... I am mostly concerned about squirrels and chipmunks, I think. They just tear into everything around these parts. One summer they used every singly seat cushion on my deck furniture chairs to pad their nests! I really despise them. Maybe they won't be interested in this (I hope). Not sure what to do to keep them away, really. So, I am trying to extend the amount of time I keep a bunch of my cacti and succulents outdoors, rather than jamming them into my sunroom this year. That way, I may try to segue them into a dark dormancy in my garage instead of the sunroom - giving them a deeper sleep perhaps AND freeing up growing space under HID lights in my sunroom. They just wouldn't get the same dry cold in the sunroom that I think I can give them with the greenhouse - maybe end up with better flowering next year, too? By the end of November, I think they will all be indoors somewhere - either garage or sunroom. Then, the snows come...seems so far away with 90s forecast all week for us ;-). Josh - I see what you mean...just hope it doesn't get overtaken by marauding banditos! T

They are dry layed, I use "Crusher waste/dust" as a back fill as I build up. I start wide at the base and then build up at about a 8 degree lean to the rear. for every 2-3 layers of flagstone I repeat the backfill process. If they are built above 3 feet high, I backfill with 2B crushed stone first, coming up to 3 feet high. I then switch back to the crusher waste/dust for the remaining height. This allows for good drainage with no dirt/soil wash thru. It also builds a long lasting non-shifting wall. Even in weather extremes I have had not problems with the walls. I do get an occasional Chipmunk that thinks it is fun to try and dig out behind the walls...but after a few days they stop trying..LOL I used to use typar weedblock behind the walls, but found it ia not needed and a waste of money if the walls are back filled properly. I do use the typar if I am putting in a drain pipe system, I wrap the pipe with the typar to insire to soil blockage occurs. I hope that answers your question and gives you a better idea of the way I make the walls. Karla, I did the same thing. One of the screens which popped up looked just like AVG, which is my AV. It was running a scan but there were smaller windows which looked like Windows and said,'security alert! your computer has a virus, you must update your antivirus. It had the colors of a Windows warning with the red X and blue background. The AV scan was zipping along with these alerts popping up. I was so confused, luckily I didn't react immediately (which is what I tend to do), I sat and looked at the windows and realized the scan (which looked exactly like AVG) was not AVG. It was missing the 'G'. The top of the screen just said AV. When I saw that, I knew the other boxes weren't Windows. I couldn't X anything or stop the scan. I tried to open AVG but it wouldn't open. I tried Malwarebytes, no luck. I then tried to shut down the computer and the Start button wouldn't work. More pop-ups all over the place. I manually shut the computer off. When I restarted, I did the same as Karla. I clicked on Malwarebytes immediatelly before the other processes started. It instantly grabbed 3 items before it scanned (thought that was odd). After the scan it showed 7 items: Trojan horse Fake AV.CDC Virus identified Exploit PDF Trojan.Fraudepack AV Suite Rogue.AVSecurity Suite Temp Files IE5 Rogue AV Security Suite. I don't know how to show the log. I might reinstall Windows and be done with this. It was very upsetting. My netbook seems to work normally but the proxy settings were changed and it has frozen a few times. Jane

Why then do the real estate companies tell buyers that one of the main reasons you use a real estate agent to list and sell your house is that the agents pre-approve buyers and won't bring unqualified buyers to your house? That is their sales pitch for why you shouldn't FSBO afterall. I was surprised my agent hasn't asked for pre approval, but we got pre-qualified anyway. In Maine where we are moving, the contract requires a pre-qualification letter within X days of contract acceptance. I think that is a smart move and now that I am going to do FSBO I am going to require the same thing and the house will stay on the market until I have one in hand. My real estate listing has expired with my realtor and I decided that I wanted a quick sale so I am cutting the commission out of my listed price and hope that will generate interest. At least more than I have gotten with the agents. But all the FSBO sites suggest strongly that you require a buyer submit a pre-qualification letter with or close to an offer. That makes sense. If they can't then you haven't lost anything. I think a lot of people who buy FSBO houses are savvy enough to know what they have to do. I'm probably wrong on that though. Human nature is so odd sometimes.
