Before and after

Josa Snow
last month

We've been doing all the work ourselves to remodel our split level 1970 home. The kitchen we saved for last so we'd be the most skilled by the time we got to it.
Before it was so closed off and squat, with dead corners, no landing space by the stove, a soffit and dated peninsula.
We put in natural maple shaker cabinets. Simple so they'd be timeless. And slate floors, my mom's old 1930s wedgewood stove, which we had refurbished and my father and i painted lemons on the wall.
I love how much better and more functional it is for us!
