I’m glad I found this post searching for help. I have a 40’s style bathroom that my 15yr old daughter wants to keep (she’s an old soul trapped in a young body), my only dilemma is which way to go with having blue wall tiles and pink flooring? It has a blue tub and sink, toilet was blue but had to be demolished. I’m debating on wether to buy another blue toilet to match or get the tub reglazed white and get a new white sink and toilet. Any suggestions for a modern update?

@HU-161271690 I am the writer of this post. Forbes.com took this article. I've seen it posted other locations as well. Odd, but I did write it.

I have two ideas for your pink and blue bathroom. One is to go white with the other fixtures, as you mentioned, and get the tub reglazed, which is a good idea if the tub is looking shabby. The other idea is to save the money on the new sink and reglazing and replace the floor while the toilet and sink are out. It's hard to see the full color of the floor in your photos but a new tile could lift the whole space and the blue will look much more fresh. Hope this helps!
