Tide Ultra Stain Release (new thread)
Comments (2)Hi Bea, could it be like the Acti-Lift technology? The only thing I know about Tide Ultra Stain Release is it has 4 enzymes. Lol...See MoreTide Original vs Free and Clear?
Comments (5)Thank you for the replies! We have a whirlpool cabrio- it's new and as the very first not hand me down washer we have ever owned, we love it! I don't believe it has a heater, but our water temps are set around 125-130 I think. I always choose the hottest setting for both washes. I do use extra rinses, but not as consistently as I could. STPP? Help a girl out...what does this stand for? The regular Tide doesn't seem to bother Bubs- he's one now and we've only ever used the scent free variety, until this round. But as he has gotten older, having more solid foods... Let's just say I want to stay proactive in having a great wash routine, haha! biokleen and ecover are both mentioned in and around the diaper forums, too, but tide is the go to one size fits most recommendation, and it does work very well since I increased the amount per load. I will take a look at the pods- the diapers get a no detergent rinse and spin and two consecutive washes, so it would be hard to dissolve them first before adding the dipes. We love the cloth! And actually find it less gross than the sposies all around! thank you, again! I'm going to see if my walmart has a large box of the un scented powder and the pods and give each a try!...See MoreDoes your washer rinse your clothes? If so PLEASE tell me which one
Comments (15)Based upon all of that, it does sound like either the new GE 755 or the Maytag Commercial is your best bet. I have a GE Profile top load from 2006 and use Tide pods. I've had zero issues with clothes not coming out clean or there still being odors. The key to a good top loader is enough water and agitation. The ones with just the disc on the bottom that use 1 gallon of water are pretty bad when you watch the videos of them, I would never buy one. The GE 755 does have load sensing for water, but once it begins washing if you press and hold the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds, it will fill up the tub. The Maytag Commercial only has two water settings, half and full. Both also have the 2 rinse option. The Maytag unit also includes a 5 year factory parts and labor warranty....See MoreTide Free/Clear Powder vs Tide With Bleach Powder
Comments (12)FWIW, my boxes of All F/C powder w/stainlifters and Tide F/C powder both have enzymes listed in the ingredients . That same Tide F/C powder also has "Color safe bleach - sodium carbonate peroxide" listed on the side, so I avoid that one for dark colors. There might not be enough to make a difference, since it is not described as a "w/bleach" formula, but why test the fates? LOL I can't tell much difference between the two, but our clothing doesn't get very dirty, either. Hubby's sweaty golf clothing (poly wicking fabric) has come out really clean this summer, with the liquid All F/C stainlifters "odor relief". That inherent "funk" is gone. . . or sufficiently diminished to where it is not noticeable....See Moremamapinky0
