Multi-function Laundry room help
Comments (20)I need to bump this thread again. Final thoughts. Will make closet with louver door a regular door with cat door access to litter box. Shelving in there for the printer/fax machine, kitty toys and litter stock. Possibly to the left of door entrance make a wall counter to fold clothes??? If I move sink to far right, it will only leave 18" of counter and then it would bump out. As for the desk, maybe an L shape. I would be facing the wall but the window would be to my immediate left. Thoughts? I wish I had a program to see a perspective....See MoreCloset Laundry room help!
Comments (1)You would need at least 55” I’d think. And that’s without the doors. I tried to do something similar and had to give it up because I didn’t have the space for the w/d I was planning to buy. I’d go to an appliance store with a tape measure and open the doors on some side by side units to be sure....See MoreRental includes the ugliest 1/2 bath /laundry room..Help!

Comments (18)Do you have a photo that shows both washer and dryer from farther away? Check the furnace manual online to see how much clearance you need between it and anything else, especially flammable things like a wood shelf. Before you replace the washer and dryer, and after the extra wires (and intercom?) are removed, give the whole wall a fresh coat of white paint. Whatever is handy will be fine as it will give you a good clean base for your chosen color later on. If you have chosen a new paint color already, just use white primer to give you a good base coat....See Moreluna123456
