Unbelievable!

Just tuned in to watch my soaps and there is basketball again for the second day in a row ! My soaps were at the cliff-hanger part! Ugh, is that even legal for the station to do that????? Lol!

Most soaps stop during that period however if yours is continuing but you can't see it remember that you can watch them online. I had that happened recently when breaking news took over the time slot of my show. I just watched it on my computer. Google is your friend!

Well my tvs have been hijacked for basketball for about 12 hours yesterday and will be the same for quite a while!!!!

It happens every year in March. That's why it is called "March Madness." Surprised you haven't come across this before.

Kansas looks good as does Michigan State.

Yes Ann.....Our mail system seems to be faster than ever. Oh I will use it Ann, but I hate to, because I'm scared of ruining it, but I will use it, thats for sure. I sure like the way the grains run through the wood. I will be making a cheese ball to put on it first. It's called "abuse of a vunlerable individual" and it's illegal. Talk to your fiance's case worker NOW and they can probably refer you to someone who can defend this. If Van manages to get you into court before you get legal help, explain to the judge, WITH copies of the papers for discharge and everything, that Van drove his mentally ill, still recovering schizophrenic son from the hospital right to the bank to get him to sign over the property. Look up your state's attorney General's office and see about "abuse of vulnerable persons" ... elderl;y, dementia, mentally or physically vulnerable ... it's ALL illegal.

I never read the original thread in September. Maybe I was banned in that period. We've been watching a lot of Netflix in the last few weeks since TV programming is all reruns. We watched both seasons of The Crown which we loved and both seasons of the Kominsky Method. Also loved it, but tonight we were looking for an hour-long show before bed. So I remembered the recent mention of this here and we watched it. I liked it a lot and can't wait to watch all eight episodes. Great acting. I'll have to google this and find out details.

Diane not only is that a stunning example of a Black Lace Elderberry, but also I'm amazed that it let you prune it that way. Mine is a total diva about pruning. Cut mine anywhere back of the blooms even slightly - like maybe tip pruning or cutting off a few crispy leaves - and the entire branch rather dramatically dies down to the ground. Every time. No exceptions. I even have some thick branches that are totally dead that I'm leaving for fear of disturbing the rest. I've gotten so I don't do anything but finger prune off the blooms and I do even that gingerly so that I don't disturb anything else about Her Highness's eccentric hair-do. Mine is robustly winter hardy but after shedding 50% of her branches if I dare to brush against them too roughly, mine is still rather sparse at about 6-7' of limp "I vant to be alone" lounging against the 5' wire green fence I use to keep her together and out of harm's way. Yep, she's my Greta Garbo of shrubs. Suited for Sweden and lovely when she's happy but a spoiled headache when she's not. Cynthia

Call your local station. They are probably airing the soaps in the middle of the night. If you find out the time, you can set your dvr (or be up at that hour to watch).

Thanks Raven and Lindsey, I did a Google search and it appears the soaps will continue on Monday so looks like I didn't miss anything. I don't usually mind that much about the soaps but this time they "got" me! :)

They've hijacked the Womens World Curling Championship as well. I had to get up at 2 am this morning to watch it live from Japan. NCAA has taken over the afternoon time slot they were reshowing the curling on. Tonight, I have to stay up/get up at midnight to watch Canada in the Final against Switzerland. Go, Canada, Go!
