patty, Happy valentine's day to you as well! I am going out tonight (brick oven pizza place, LOL), oh well, at least I don't have to cook. I will be cooking an extended family Valentine celebration dinner on Sunday. We will be having a pasta dinner (Pizza in a Bowl) with a ceasar salad and garlic bread. DD is making something decadently chocolate for dessert. I haven't a plan for a starter, but have a few days to think of something. A couple of bottles of Proseco and some sparkling cider, we will celebrate with all of our loved ones. Not the most romantic dinner, but very important for us to let everyone know how much we love them all! Also, this way, everyone has a Valentine. What are your plans?

Happy Valentines Day everyone!! No biggie here....Frank and I were both off this weekend and spent some "quality" time together. I used to make heart shaped meatballs and a big meal for the family but since I started working the new job I haven't been doing as much cooking. So I have a big steak chillin in the fridge with a spicy rub...I have to work but Frank will grill it for him and Drew to share. Today is exciting because its SPRING TRAINING!!! (can you tell Im and little stoked??) Best pitching line up EVER!!! And what makes this season so thrilling is that Hubster got me a six pack for Christmas!! Sadly my first game isn't until May 23 so I'll be watching or listening to games til then!! Also tonight is the first night of Westminster!! Some of Abbee and Apollo's cousins qualified so root for the Havanese!!! Have a great day!!! Cheers and HUGS!!! Susie

"On behalf of many people here, thank you Teresa for your generosity. You are many people's Valentine. "Here is looking at you, kid." You are a sweet heart. For me you have made cooking fun, delicious, and educational." I second that! "I keep getting overwhelmed by your posts and run out of words of appreciation for them. Just keep them coming. They are always a highlight of my visits to CF. Always informative and a treat for the eye." My thoughts, exactly! Thanks for always so kindly and generously Sharing your knowledge and talent. Rusty

LOL, 2many, I think Sriracha tastes like vinegar and hot peppers, but can't taste any other flavors. I'm a wimp, I like just a little heat but I don't want the enamel on my teeth to bubble. I think if it's so hot I can't enjoy the flavors of the food, it's kind of pointless, but Elery loves heat, the hotter the better. That is one mean looking panty liner, BTW. (grin) Sleevendog, I found a similar potato in my storage: I left it propped up on the counter for Elery to find and he didn't even notice it, LOL. So much for that Valentine's Day thought! Thanks for the sriracha tip on hummus, Elery would love that. I suppose I could just mix it in at the end, so the entire batch isn't "contaminated"? (snicker) AnnT, the steak looks delicious, as always, and although I don't care for very many hot chilies I love peppercorns. It's a different kind of heat. Annie
