I watched Persuasion tonight...absolutely wonderful, if not entirely authentic. Much better than the Amanda Root, Ciarán Hinds one. Anne is way too grovelingly pathetic for me and I want to cattle prod her often, but I guess that's why it's titled as it is.

I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series.
