Could I have some good thoughts, please

Hi, y'all, I know I haven't been good with keeping up at the Kt but y'all are always in my prayers. I would like to ask for some now. We are having to evacuate from Ike. Should have yesterday, but I'm stubborn. We survived Katrina so I'm hoping I can say the same about Ike. Marilyn you were the first one that I thought of since you live near the water. Good luck to everyone riding out the storm.

Hi Gabby!!!

I was just asking if you were still in Gulfport. Sending good thoughts that you'll be fine and that Ike will miss your home.

Look at that handsome young man! Sorry I missed this yesterday. I'm glad he's doing so well. With his good looks that arm is going to be a chick magnet, don't you know. My son broke his arm when he was 10 or 11 or so. He didn't need surgery, luckily, but the day he got his cast off, he did a handspring. You guessed it, back into the cast with his arm re-broken. So, tell him no handsprings when he gets the cast off.

He's actually having the surgery here. Or HAD the surgery I should say. He's home and on the couch watching the tube and listening/watching the new videos I downloaded to his IPod. He says it hurts but he's so much more tough than me. I'd be in bed trying to sleep it off. :) I got the bed ready for him, but I should have known better. I guess I'd better get ready for a long week of Poker programs and The Discovery Channel. LOL (except when I take over for an hour tonight to watch Jon and Kate +8) Thanks again everyone! Lots of prayers going up for Wally! Yea...if he has that external bag not many people will know except the ones he choses to tell. Take care! Tyler's received 100 buses full of evacuees from the gulf area. Our service stations are packed. We're 200 miles away and expect flooding and lots of wind. We'll lose power b/c we have so many trees in our neighborhood.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours
along with any others in "Ike's path".

Just talked to our sister In Sugarland/Houston....
they had windows taped with mattresses up against
them and had spent the day trimming tree branches.
They were outside with most of their neighbors watching
the sky. She mentioned tornados are a concern.

I could hear the wind howling as we talked. I think
this has convinced her to sell and move to Nevada!
