DS is getting a transfusion today.One of the catheter sites was bleeding quite a bit yesterday.DDIL asked the nurse about it and they didn't seem too worried.His heart rate was up a little bit and BP was a little low.So I don't know if it was the bleeding or something else that prompted the transfusion.Guess I'll find out more later today.

I'm not feeling too good right now either and Little Rowdy has a horrible diaper rash so we all need your prayers! Thanks

I did get the Geowood. Aged Amber. I really like it. It's held up great to moisture so far. I have it in my tiny bathroom, even. No thresholds needed. I do have a few scratches, but very few and caused by human error. I read on-line that they can be removed because they haven't gone through the protective layer, but I haven't been bothered enough to do it. This is an in-progress pic, but it will give you an idea.

Thank you, Ingrid. I have not met that rose so far but HMF says it does have prickles. It is in the right color camp. I'll need to give it plenty of room if it is a noisette. These first blooms can be so misleading too. What it was supposed to be, MS-C, is so distinctive that it just cannot be that. This rose color has so many more possibilities. I did an autopsy yesterday on a bloom each of my Georgetown Tea and Madame Lombard/Lambard which have come from ARE and almost always look identical to me. Cass did great photos in HMF describing the petal base as more pink white and with darker pink veins for Georgetown Tea, and more sulfur yellow base without veins for Madame Lombard. I think mine might both be Madame Lombard. Cass's photos are in the Georgetown Tea HMF.

Hi Folks , just taking a moments break from digging and weeding . I am removing a path between 2 gardens and turning it into one garden ( reduces the amount of push mowing my hubby has to do . I have to remove the hostas , weeds etc and then that gives me spots to move and plant daylilies that didn't bloom this year due to being in too much shade . I have done this in several spots here this summer . UGH ! it is a big job. Kay , Wow , such Iovely images ! Thanks for sharing . I fell in love with your image of Heart of Glass and went to look up more info on it . The image shown however makes me wonder because I just don't see any similarities to your image other than the image at NGA that is shown is a bi-tone . https://garden.org/plants/view/663943/Daylily-Hemerocallis-Heart-of-Glass/ I don't know if you are a member of NGA but if you are , it would be lovely if you were to post your image of HOG. (ugly acronym for a beautiful flower !). ' I am hoping for rain on Sunday and some cooler temps next week after that perhaps I will get some rebloom. I dug up a fairly mature Rose of Sharon and moved it and so have been keeping it well watered which I can't do everywhere being on a well but I have the daylily Batman growing near and for the first time EVER I have a rebloom scape on it !!! It has got to be the watering .

try a few warm tones that you like, and I would keep it to a size that lets some of the wood show around the edge of the room, the larger ones seem to make the room look very long.

Diaper rash--we think Aquaphor is the best stuff you can buy. Use it liberally. I find it in the drug store with baby stuff and in some grocery stores, but not many. Mostly drug stores.

Sending good thoughts your way.

Don't have much useful advice about diaper rash, as mine are in their 40s.

Maybe I'll soon need to learn, for my own concerns ... but Grandma used to say that we shouldn't cross bridges till we get there.

She didn't mean by that that we shouldn't have some concerns to have things go well tomorrow ... and for a few days after.

The transfusion went fine.No problems.DDIL said he feels better.Tomorrow morning at 6AM they will take him for another procedure.The doctor said he has about 5 places that will need "roto rooting" and they will put in the stets.Then we "wait and see" some more!
Thanks again for the prayers and good thoughts.I know y'all probably get tired of me saying that but I really mean it!
