Latest on my (not!) cardiac episode
Comments (69)Thanks all -- just made an appt. with my dr for Monday morning so I'll see what she says. Yes, I really like my PCP. She is conservative with medications so I doubt that she's going to say, Here's some Xanax, see you later. In my internet diagnostic research, I read that beta blockers are sometimes diagnosed for high BP and/or anxiety. She told me to hold off on the BP meds that the cardio dr prescribed, and I wonder if she will propose a beta blocker instead. Of course this is based on one article online. I have no idea what she'll do. She may re-do some of the blood tests too. This week I have noticed that the times I have this "feeling" (which is basically turning into the same routine -- feeling like I can't breathe, when in fact of course I can, sweaty palms, and sometimes a weird feeling like I have to go to the bathroom, sorry, TMI?) happens in mainly two situations: in the car and when I'm thinking/talking about the possibility of panic attacks! Okay, duh -- guess this is pretty psychological....See MoreSurvivor
Comments (21)Sure, Rob got lucky having all these people bow to his experience and wishes, but if he DIDN'T take advantage of the situation, you'd be saying he was a lousy player and a brainless idiot. Rob is playing them all brilliantly, and he's probably one of the very few people who is smart enough to hold onto a hidden immunity idol and NOT blab the info to everyone. I really like how he doesn't shoot his mouth off at tribal council, too. He plays his cards close to his vest, which is so smart. The people who talk a lot seem to be the ones who cause others to start questioning their loyalties and their word. I was tickled that Rob won the 2nd immunity last night on the memory game. I just hope that he keeps winning the necklace and makes it to the end. If he goes to the finals and doesn't win, it'll be sour-grapes for sure. He's played a perfect game so far. Looks like they'll be bringing 2 people back from Redemption Island at the end. Probably Ralph and Matt, by God. lol...See MoreWho's excited for SURVIVOR tonight??
Comments (24)I definitely would have preferred Spencer to win but I am glad Kass didn't. I loved Woo's speech and think highly of him for living his life the way he does, I think he didn't want to risk Kass winning, and was willing to go against Tony and accept the results between the two of them. He was raised and lives in a very different culture, they honor their commitments, and live by different rules. I think Woo is a great guy, that was very evident in the episode with the children, and he knew his students were watching him on the show, I think that weighed heavily on how he played the game. He had me after his speech and I truly believe if Spencer had not gotten up and praised Tony so much that Woo would have had more votes. There were tears in several people's eyes after he spoke. Woo was not the dummy many thought him to be, he is well educated and can speak well when he needs to....See MoreReminder for Survivor
Comments (19)I'm always a day late in watching most things, mainly because I don't want things to go the way I'm afraid they are going to go. That made perfect sense in my head!! Omg, when Malcolm walked out, oh my that hair, drool, lol. Of course I was sad to see Reynolds go but would have been totally shocked if he had stayed. I really thought Eric might throw a kink in the plan to get rid of Andrea. Loved that she got blindsided holding the immunity idol! I couldn't believe Dawn was all for getting rid of Brenda ( I would be horrible at this game) but crap, Brenda helped her find her dang teeth, that should keep you in a little longer!! Well Malcolm should have been kept in longer too, just for getting rid of Philip, lol! And bless Eric's heart, is he really smarter than he appears to me( lol, that's saying a whole lot), why hand over the idol?? I like Brenda ( except when she found Dawn's teeth, lol, not really) but I was just wanting someone to go home for whatever reason, before Malcolm. I'm not a Cochran fan at all, but he's had some funny comments this season. I'd quote but I never remember anything the right way, the peanut butter licking, lol. Right now, I'm still rooting for the underdog, Eddie, but like Brenda and Eric, too. I think Brenda is the strongest player. I just wish I remembered her season. I googled her once but only saw the names of her tribe members and didn't remember any of them, lol. I'll have to go look again. Flamey, what's wrong with Brenda's leg? Did anyone watch next week's preview? What does it look like is going to happen?...See More- 2 years ago
