YAY! Survivor is pretty much my favorite tv show! I like Amazing Race too, although sometimes if I don't care for any of the contestants who are left, I will skip it. I hope Survivor has some likable contestants this time too...which they usually do.

We enjoy Survivor. I, too, hope for a better season this time around.

Survivor is my favorite show, so I am anxious to see it. The last season wasn't great, so I'm hoping this will be better--the theme is interesting. This season's theme for Amazing Race might be fun (blind date).

I'm a big fan. Thanks for the reminder. I don't know how I haven't seen any advertisements for it so far?! Hmmmm. I hope this season is better, last season was a snooze, and I didn't feel like anyone on the final really deserved to win. Oh well, CAN'T WAIT!

Can't believe Survivor is in it's 30th season. Is there more than one season per year? There must be, I know I wasn't watching 30 years ago. I was hooked for the first few years but rarely watch it now.

30th season, 15th or maybe it's 14.5 years. I think TAR will also be on Friday night, but I'll be happy to watch tonight, too. Actually, we'll DVR all of it and watch at our leisure, just glad that something new is coming on TV.

Oops, I was thinking 30 years! I remember when it first aired, I was doing a presentation in a home, and the husband was focused on the tv watching Survivor. It was 15 years ago. Sorry Country Cottage!

Woody made all of us coconut cups the first year we vacationed at the beach. I joke all the time that we could move down there and open up a stand and sell these right there on the beach.

I haven't watched a whole season for years, but like a true junk food lover, I do drop by and sample the wares on occasion..this year..coconut! It's good for you, right? ;)

Coconut boy (Vince) is totally creepy and stalkerish. Icky, icky dude. Talk about arrested development. So glad So (pun intended) left. Who brags about making people cry in their workplace? For that comment alone I didn't like her. Now she has the infamous title of first kicked off the island, ha!

We watched Amazing Race last nite, for the lack of anything else. I quite enjoyed it, and I think Hailey's partner (the navy doctor) is pretty tired of her already. She's going to be a pain.

I agree with you Jasdip, navy doc doesn't seem too happy. I was impressed with rest of the first time daters in how they played the game.

On Survivor I was thrilled So left, couldn't happen to a better person! Hopefully her employer watched the show and saw the real So. And let's hope the employees she made cry got some satisfaction watching her torch extinguished!

Eeeewww, Vince/Fabio was beyond creepy. I don't know what his intended game is with the ladies, but it's uncomfortable to watch him.

My husband said Vince the coconut king must have had a run in with a chicken. I said why? He said well he has chicken feathers stuck all in his hair! Lol umm yes he sure does. Did anyone notice that the white collar guy that was the leader could not figure out how to open the tailgate on the truck so they could get out! We said oh no he's going to have a real problem. So deserved to go! I knew without a doubt that they were going to pick dishonest /deceive before they even got there. So very shallow those two were.
