KT - While I love the old Ford tractor (nothing so sophisticated as a Bobcat) I truly don't use it in the veggie garden. ;>) I like hand work in the veggie beds which are the historic garden site that came with the house (we found an old brass harness bell in one of the first years we planted there . . . ) One of the things I love about potatoes is that I can plant them with the peas as soon as the snow disappears and the ground has thawed for a couple of weeks, well before I have to do anything else in the garden. So, it's one of the garden jobs that I actually get around to, unlike staying on top of the weeding, de-flowering my garlic, deadheading, etc, etc, etc . . . I do like the idea of just dumping out the potato bags and not spearing potatoes, however, so I may have to investigate that. Now I just loosen the soil with the spading fork and then get down on my knees and hand dig to minimize the damaged potatoes. You can always tell when I've been harvesting my spuds because I'm as grubby as a 5 year-old when I come in, and my fingernails look awful (dirt-stained and broken) for days after. Right now I'm using the damaged potatoes since I know that they won't keep. My sympathies on blight that effected so many this summer. I've been doing some reading after viewing this thread - it looks like there are or will be soon some resistant potatoes on the market, though I've not found anything on blight-resistant tomatoes. I guess that there is an advantage to living in the boonies - no near neighbors and since I don't grow corn, I don't worry about the corn field next door spreading disease.

I'm glad others like Zenni too! Joanie - I'm going to look for that moisturizer. I like Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup. For reference, it reminds me of Clinique Even Better. I'd call it light to medium coverage. It's slightly dewy. My skin goes back and forth between combination normal/oil to normal/dry. It's the only drugstore foundation I found I like. Boop - Yes, they do the progressives! Thanks for the link. I would think photoshop would fix any tiny imperfections in her hands, but if her hands aren't near perfect I'm sure they can, and will, find someone else. I wanted to pick up almond oil while out and got all side tracked. It's on my list for next time! Sue - I'm glad to hear the Avon products are working! They're ones I'd like to try. I'm still not the most consistent at using face products. Mtnrd - Oh, they sound great! I'm going to try them. I discovered a few weeks ago a real simple caesar salad dressing that's just mayo (I like Hain's safflower mayo), lemon juice, and olive oil. It's so simple and I think it tastes right when on a salad. I really like Lypsyl Bee Smooth lip balm. I wanted to try something different and bought it because I liked the look of the tube. I apparently grabbed the mint kind because it has a slight minty feel that I would prefer it didn't. It goes away after a while. My lips were cracked and sore and after less than a day of use my lips were great. Still are. I always layer something under lipstick and I was impressed that my lips, for the first time, weren't dried out later. It also seems to last on your lips without the need to reapply often. Also like Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby Faces SPF 45 for my face.

Only flavored coffee I drink is the Zavida hazelnut vanilla from Costco. Not sure if I would like a sweet tasting coffee. My friend was in California last week just before Halloween and he came home with Candy Corn flavoured coffee. I love candy corn but I can't imagine drinking coffee with that flavour. He said it was disgusting and he loves his candy corn. I have tried fruity flavoured coffees like raspberry and don't like them at all. Enjoy

Grace, I looked it up and so far I've only read one article recommending Soft Scrub with bleach. Is your sink white? Before I started using the Kohler cleaner (I bet it may work on fire clay, something worth looking into), after I cleaned my sink I'd use Clorox Bleach Foamer, I think it was for bathrooms, but used it on my kitchen sink and it whitened the sink and left it shiny. But the fumes were awful so I'd open windows and leave the room for a few minutes. It worked pretty good.
