OH NO!! She was my role model!!

Oh, I hadn't heard. She was so great on Golden Girls.

So sad. She was the best.

She was on The TV Land Awards about a month ago. She didn't look good. Sorry to hear about this. I loved the way she carried her purse everywhere on Golden Girls.

Thanks for being a friend Estelle. RIP sweet lady.

She was sooo good on that show...I loved her ZINGERS and she had bunches!!

This is sad news - she has been ill with dimensia for a few years, from what I've read.

Another one of the greats no longer here. The chemistry of all the gals on the Golden Girls was very good, but I think her character pulled it all together. I had read about her dementia problems years ago....so sad.

Oh she was my favorite golden girl......I loved her smart a$$ comments.....loved her!

Used to watch old reruns on Lifetime. It was on just after Designing Woman. Made a happy hour for me!

She was a heck of a lady. I loved her. Rest in peace Miss Estelle Getty.

I think she made the show. She was so funny.

Another great character actress gone. Today's flavor of the day actors can't come near the talent of those of Estelle Getty's generation. Loved the lady,loved the show.
