How can I get full-screen notifications?

I'd like to have something that pops-up when I need to be reminded of things, e.g. join meeting, call Dani, etc. Is there a program? Outlook's best option is "banner" setting. I'd like it to block whatever I am doing to get my attention. It'd be best if it allowed me to do it with Evernote, Outlook, whatever program I choose. Anyone have experience with such an animal?

Thunderbird email client has an included calender/reminder/scheduler component. It throws pop-up for reminders although they're not full-screen. It's the current iteration of what originally was Sunbird, which then segued to LIghtning which is no longer available as a separate package, only bundled with Thunderbird.

There may be add-ons for Firefox that provide similar function.

On a computer/laptop, phone, or tablet?

My calendar app on my Android phone has reminders/alerts I can set. That's what I use.

I too use reminders and alerts. I want one that pops up, and over, whatever I am doing. I'll keep digging. I want it for my work desktop, but if it works well, my android would be great too. Might be better? I'm considering Any.do as it at least syncs up several programs I use (both Google programs and Microsoft programs), and Trello. That's a great project program (what my job is, program management). It's missing some programs (like Evernote), but it gets close. I was looking for alternates, but I am happy to try this one

I've done triple on the Roasted tomato garlic soup. I don't bother with a cookie sheet. I use my broiler pan with 2 inch sides. Even roasting one pan, setting it aside and let it cool down before blending while you roast another. Let it cool flat on the cookie sheet. Don't try to mix it all up. When the second batch is finished blend all together and add herbs and broth. It all must be heated anyway before putting in jars.

If this happened to me, I would do the following. I would PRINT SCREEN, PASTE the image into my graphics program, and crop the image so it contained only the popup. Then I would post the image along with the question so that others might have a clue as to what it is going on. But...that's just me.

I had a duh moment a minute ago... look at pictures. This is what I want. Apple has it, but Android doesn't. Neither does Windows that I can tell. Called in your face. It's perfect. Can't miss seeing that puppy!

I agree. But I think Google and Microsoft are behind on this. I already tried to look, so I hope somebody else will tell me about it if they find it! 😃
