It's not just yours.

I haven't actually printed anything, but I set it up and when it came to the print preview, there was only that small print at the top and the bottom.

Now - just to check - I highlighted just what I types here and set out to print it. The highlighted part showed up on the preview. So I don't know if I have a problem or not.

I tried it with the Homemade Detergent recipie and when I click on Print, the highlighting goes off.
I tried several times

Anything I want to print I save into a Word document and go from there.
Have you tried that?

Yes, I'm having trouble with the selection part of printing. I just do as jasdip does, but miss the old way.

It was the homemade detergent i was trying to do too. I use to just highlight and print.

Have you tried to CC&P the recipe to another form like email or a diary and then print? That should work even though it is an extra step.

I think something changed here at GW. I could not get pages to move for a while and others had difficulty accessing GW the same day. Now, even with my blocker on FireFox, I am getting these big green leaves that flutter from the top ad banner and settle into the sister ad at the lower right side of the page. I can't click to move the page until the leaves flutter down and land in the other ad. It was cute at first and not is very annoying.

how about c/p or email it to yourself?

Thought it was my printer/computer. But I think someone put in a block so we cannot do it--sad.

I always just copy the text and paste it in an email and send it to myself.

It has to be something with the web settings as this happens at other sites I used to block and print selections. Now I have to open notepad and c/p to that in order to print. If I try to print the whole page (to see what happens), all I get are a list of the starred lines. This happens on my other computer which I print to another printer. If anyone has an answer to this I would surely like to find out. I hate it when they change a system I liked so well.

Instead of using the printer icon on your toolbar, try right clicking your mouse and select print from there.

I don't have any problem. I highlight what I want to print, click on file and print. When the page comes I click selection and print. No problem.
