Which Light Fixture for the PR? (PICS)

I am in the middle of a PR mini-remodel. We are moving from old outdated pastel wallpaper and polished brass fixtures to bronze finishes and a more earth toned color scheme. The PR is just inside the kitchen area so I am also trying to compliment but not necessarily match the elements in the kitchen.

I had to settle on my new mirror. I just could not find an arch top that had both the design detail, size and finish that I wanted. So I ended up with the rectangular one in the pic. It was inexpensive enough that I can always swap it out later if the perfect mirror comes along.

I just put up the towel rings yesterday and won an ebay auction last night for the faucet seen below. I am hunting for new cabinet hardware which will be fun, since I only have 4 pulls I can afford to get something unique.

My decision right now is which light fixture to get. I have been searching and finding several possibilities but am trying to narrow down what will be best esthetically.

Number one question: Do you think I need to keep with the same dark tuscan bronze finish as is on the towel rings and faucet? Or can I go with a slightly lighter bronze type finish for the light fixture?

Number two question: My current fixture has 2 lights but I have the room to move to a 3 light fixture. Do you think 3 lights will look better in addition to adding more light to a windowless room?

Last question: Which of the light fixtures below would be your choice with my planned PR color scheme and chosen setup?

Nice sleuthing on ebay!
Since you asked which jumps out- my initial reaction is SAVON. Palisades and Morningside could work as well.
I don't think you have to matchy match the exact shade of the finish; all in the family works for me.

I think Savon or Palisades would look nice in your PR. I especially like the glass on Palisades, it would go with your colors in the art.

Well, I guess this was all for not. I talked to the city inspector today and he said that a light fixture can't be located in that spot at all because the fixture has to be a minimum of 8' above the tub rim. The receptacle is in the ceiling and covered up with drywall and I think it's going to stay that way. I was kind of relieved to know I don't have to think about it anymore. Anyway, thanks all for your good advice!

I never really thought about the shades other than the rooster one came with red flowery shades originally and they didn't match. Is there a link or a way to find Chijim's shades? I tried to find some shades to match the silver and thought about some punched metal ones and they would work perfect in the kitchen. I have the black one with the doodads in the breakfast nook and it is so pretty but the only other place I can think of using it is in DD room. Our MB ceiling is too low to use it and the bath has wall sconces and recessed lighting.

we are doing shaker cabinets as well and hard edges on the granite. With all of those clean lines I am looking to add some softness and round-ness to the room. So I would go with 1 or 5. Lamps plus has a great pendant that looks a lot like #1 but it has a double shade (RH has one as well). Might be worth checking out, just to further drive you nuts :) Let us know what you choose.

Great room:-) Number 4 gets my vote. I don't like the down lights in a dining room because they throw shadows on people's faces that are unattractive. Just a note to ask your realtor about the drapes. Everywhere I've lived, when we sold whatever curtains were hung went with the house (the contracts are standard in that way). And the thing is, the drapes really make that room fantastic, so I'd want to show it with them. Maybe you can the realtor put an exclusion in regarding the drapes, so you can still have them hanging during the showings.

I like the simplicity of the Savon.

One other thought. Seeing the cabinet especially from a distance, I would either change the handles on the little drawers to knobs (better proportion), or if you keep the handles, add one to the center area under the sink, even though it doesn't actually open. Looking at it, the center area on the top of the cabinet looks so bare, and the handles on either side almost look like they are trying to escape! LOL

What a great kitchen, by the way - I am jealous!

I think both the Savon and the Cervantes are pretty, and the top of the glass globes best mimic the detail on the top of that beautiful faucet that you scored from Ebay....good job!! I can't wait to see the finished PR, it's going to be gorgeous!

Thanks for all the input! Looks like Savon is the winner and since I agreed with the comments about it I ordered it from Bellacor last night. I also liked the Palisades because the glass is so pretty but it was twice the price of the Savon, so you all saved me a little money too :)

I am definitely going to replace the old hardware on the vanity cabinet. Still trying to find something I like but was thinking possibly small decorative cup pulls on the upper two small drawers and handles on the 2 lower doors. Probably will choose a bronze or matte copper finish that will blend more subtly with the cabinet.

Does anybody have a link to a site that sells metal wall baskets or plant holders that I could use to put some greenery, silk plants or vines on the wall? Just something small, maybe a bronze metal basket that could hold some decorative foliage is what I would like to find.

Appreciate all the help on this forum!
