Ice Storm damage

We had quite an ice storm around here last week that did some damage around my property. A limb was knocked down between the house and my barn and took the three wires between the two structures with it. The wire is very old and has most of the insulation gone. The total distance that the wire traveled is 150 feet and the barn has a 60 amp service to it. The wire is solid 8 gauge. My question is: What is the type of wire that I need in order to get the barn back up and running? ie. THHN, etc. Thanks for your help.
