Do you have current photos of the space? Is the piece for table linens the rectangle in the bottom right corner?

Hey - nice choices so far!!! Are you looking to replace the credenza or do you want a chest for the opposite wall, as shown in your floorplan? I see a painted piece in there...

I'm thinking that you need a tree between your china/buffet & the one accent chair. And I think an area rug in the living area will define the area nicely.

You have a pretty eclectic taste & I like where you're going...

@mtnrdredux - the new chest will go in the LR at the top rt next to the chair. I'll photograph Thursday when I get back home.

@Jeana - the credenza will stay. I love its art deco-inspired look. Painted chest...could you suggest a color?

Are 2 sets of figural lamps one set too many? I want to incorporate Foo Dogs in the LR and found these lamps (one for the new chest and one for the credenza).

I know it's hard to tell, but the chairs are the same green as in the Ikat fabric. Also, I have a longer curtain rod and ordered 2 more panels to extend the curtains behind the end tables.

Looking forward to your suggestions for a sm chest and lamps for the chest and credenza!!

Oh my goodness...it looks GREAT!!! The only thing I want you to check is the height of the artwork over the credenza. The center of the piece shouldn't be any higher than 60" from the floor...it looks a little too high to me. I LOVE the foo dogs...but I think they should be on the new chest. Love the ikat!!!

Glam & drama!!! How about a mirrored chest over there???

@kristine: Yes, an area rug could add a punch of color. Not looking forward to finding one with the right color and size (ugh!), but I plan to start that search after all furniture is in place so I know what size I'll need.

It's fabulous! Love the ikat. Definately extend the curtains. I would also shift the painting next to the curtains to the right a little so it's not overlapping with the lamp. The only suggestion I had was to move the chairs a little closer together and closer to the coffee table. Maybe add a table between them. Right now they look kind of like they're floating in the middle of nowhere. A rug would also ground the grouping.

@Jeana - Thanks for the comment on painting over credenza. It's spot on (60 inches to center), but may still need to snuggle up to the credenza. I'll re-check when I move the credenza). I think I'll be using bunches of paper or cardboard on the floor to simulate rug sizes.

@pps7 - The art next to the sofa will not be staying, but I'll make sure location is better wrt this new furniture/lamps. The Klimt tapestry also may or may not stay. Depends on the cabinet I choose for that corner. Here's a couple of shots with the chairs close together and toward the coffee table. I think I like it! I'll just have to make sure there's adequate space to walk from the foyer to the DR after I get the chest. I also would use a different table -- perhaps a cube Pal suggested...

Now I'm taking suggestions for rug colors/patterns to coordinate with the art deco and Hollywood Regency pieces...

I'd love to see some of that orange in the painting scattered about. Lumbar pillows would look great on those slipper chairs. Place looks great so far.

@Jeana -- That aqua is exactly what I spent many hours looking for!

@yayagal - I, too, thought about lumbar pillows. They'll look great! I'm contemplating re-making the striped pillows from the sofa and using the Ikat fabric for sofa pillows. Orange, hmmm... There is no orange in the art over the credenza -- it has varying shades of pink, plus blue, gold and green. I was thinking of adding some aqua/teal/turquiose, though. How do you think that will look?

And yes, I always vote for kidney pillows & would definitely change out the ones on the sofa. I don't know that the sofa pillows should be the ikat though.

LOL!!! It would certainly be glam though!!!

This shag is THE most beautiful & elegant one I've ever seen. It's by Jaunty. This pic cannot do this justice. I've put this a couple clients' homes with great success.
