being petty

So mom officially has no income.... (she's in real estate and has a house under agreement) so she will have some money shortly no clue how long it takes to close a house under agreement and get her 3%(or whatever %)

Is there a realtor on the forum? I remember reading someone was, might have been a passerby.

So the other day hubby and I went shopping summer shoes were on sale so we bought the kids shoes and got each an outfit not to big a deal ... on Sunday the kids come home and see the new stuff and then say " mommy bought us shoes too but they are for her house we have to leave them there" I said well those are "your" shoes its not like I can wear them so you can do whatever you want with them although I can fit in SD's... I bought her ones with flowers on them not my style :).

So here's my rant ... how petty is she that she buys them stuff and keeps it at her house ... imagining if we told them that they would go to her house with sneakers, backpacks and handheld games that's it!!! thats what she and "her side" have bought the kids in the last 3 years. I understand she "pays support" she "shouldn't have to buy" anything extra. But buying them personal stuff and telling them they have to keep it there just irritated me. Its no wonder my SC say things like "you can't take it away my mom's family bought it" ... learned behaviour. Although my SS10 won't say that again to me because I did say to him ok then I'll take away everything dad bought for you, and you'll only have that gameboy and 1 game.

Thinking about it guess I am at fault too ... I bought the kids "dress up outfits" a while ago and they have to stay here ... only so I know where they are when needed... and not having to track them down at mom's house. Like everything else goes to the "black hole" and is never seen again.

Ok so my rant changes ... how can she buy stuff for them when she hasn't paid her CS :).
