I need IPad help please...

I have to log into Facebook and on here every few days even with the remember my info box checked. I have looked on the apple forums and haven't found a solution. Also safari won't let me download flash player so I can watch videos posted on Facebook. Any of you computer people have a solution please. My daughter has an IPad only a few months newer than mine and she doesn't have this problem.

Flash does not work on the iPad. There are apps you can download that allow Flash to work - my husband has an app, but I don't.

I'm not sure why you have to log in to the various websites; that doesn't happen to me very often. :)

Are you logging in through Safari or using the FB App? I use the App on my iPad, it works pretty well.

If you are using Safari, check your setting for Private Browsing. Under Settings->Safari-> Private Browsing. If it is turned ON, it clears your cache every time you close Safari. If it is turned Off, Safari should remember your passwords.

This sounds unnecessarily complicated. Why don't you just want to download apps for your iPad directly through the Apple Store? In addition, I have many downloaded apps on my iPad and have yet to pay for one...ther's plenty of good free stuff available.

Moni, just navigate to the GW Forum List on your iPad. When there, you should see a "Sign In" button in the upper right corner of the page. Ignore the green confirm your account button; you've already done that. All you want to do now is sign in. Let me know if you need a screen shot of that. You will be presented with a page to enter your username or email address and password. That should get you in.

Yes, I cleared everything, and restarted, several times. I've researched and researched Apple forums and such, and don't see anything even near this issue. It's so bizarre! It doesn't seem to be affecting anything, but I'd still like it gone.

I agree about the Private Browsing. If your screentop border is Charcoal/blackish, you are in Private Browsing. Otherwise you have light gray.

I use the Photon app available at the App Store. There are others. In fact, if you Google the phrase "to get flash for iPad" you will be able to access some YouTube directions on how to get flash on your iPad.

I have been using my iPad since the first one came out. I gave my original to my granddaughter and currently have the newest version (iPad 4 which is basically a slightly updated iPad 3)

Another good app is "Tips and Tricks for using an iPad". Try the free version to see what it's like.. The 99 cent one has even more tips. I also recommend an app called AppStart. There are many good recommendations for excellent free apps on that one. It won't be long before you'll wonder what you did without it! If you have any other Apple products, you'll love how they seamlessly flow together.

I use the Facebook App. on my ipad too & no problems with it.

Red curls thanks for explaining that, I had the black border, now I have changed it and am being asked if I want my password saved. Thanks for the useful information everyone, I hope I have it fixed now!
