Cute room!

I would hang it near the dresser. It seems the most logical place for a mirror. When she's older, she can use to check out different accessories and whatnot. I'd find something else for over the night stand.

i should also mention that she has a full length standing mirror on the other side of the dresser. so i'm really just asking about aesthetics. not sure if hanging it over the nightstand makes the bed area feel cluttered.

Adorable room. Unlike porkandham, I think the more logical place would be over the night stand as she'd have to squeeze between the dresser and the wall to see herself in the mirror.

Well, I envisioned her standing in front of the dresser and simply turning her head to see her reflection.

Is there enough wall space on the wall that isn't shown in the pictures? If you put the mirror on that side it will reflect the light from the window.

Looking at the size of the mirror, I think it makes more sense over the nightstand. Will you be adding a lamp there? That might affect the decision.

Just wondering if there is another spot for the dresser? I would want that alcove for a chair and bookcase, for a perfect reading/dreaming space!

It seems like the space over the nightstand NEEDS something, while the space above the dresser really doesn't..... So, my vote is for next to the bed. :)

How does the size of the mirror fit over the night table? Would you have to move the night table over for the mirror to look centered? If you did that, would the night table be too far away from the bed to be functional?

DD's room is so cute! I, too, think the mirror would look better over the nightstand. Love the bed. Can you tell me where you got it, whether it's easy to use the trundle and make up the top bed? Thinking of getting rid of one of the spare room queen bed set ups so I can accommodate my soon-to-arrive 2nd grandbaby. Thanks!

I would've said next to the dresser, too -- because that's where it seems more natural light is (a little more than near the end table because it's not on the same wall).

But, since there's already a full-size mirror next to the dresser, why hang another mirror nearby? It's pretty, but why is it really needed?

Clearly the nightstand looks kind of alone there, but is there something else that would be more useful for that wall space?

How old is your daughter? Does she read in bed? Is there small wall light that we don't see? Maybe a wall light or lamp is needed there? And the nightstand is looking full of stuff now. Maybe she needs some small shelves above it instead?

I just can't see her getting much use of another mirror there if she has a full-length one nearby. Sure, it'd be decorative, but it would seem to me to be redundant.

(Or what about artwork there? Maybe something she's created?)

Lolauren & busybee3 hit the nail on the head. I had the mirror over the nightstand for months, but it not being centered did bother me and if i moved the nightstand over to be centered under the mirror, it was too far from her bed. it really is just decorative.
i was thinking maybe shelves over the nightstand?

she has 2 reading lights over the bed in her alcove. so i won't need a lamp on the nightstand.

javachik: the bed is from crate & barrel. the trundle is very easy. easy to make the bed too since there is extra room around the mattress.
