Do YOU think he enjoyed it? (pic)

When I told Stanley that he needed a bath he acted like a big baby. He grouched about it and laid on the floor and wouldn't budge. I had to tell on him "JAAAAAAASOOOOOONNNNN!!! Stanley won't get in the bath tub!!!" Only then did he decide that he would, indeed, get into the tub. He HATES when I tell on him. Haha! Anyway, right in the middle of his bath, I took a picture of him. I think he looks happy. Maybe he decided that it wasn't so bad after all? What do you think?

Ask Donna Loomis. She loves to knit for a little mad money. In fact, she just loves to knit. I like to knit a couple of hours every day. Usually begin and end my day that way. I especially like to make baby and toddler things for friends and relatives. Lots of babies coming this year, so I am just warming up.

I agree, I think the leaves would look darling in a vertical grouping -- perhaps in a bathroom, or kitchen maybe -- and yes with the darker stripes downward, as if they are the ground. I think "eclectic" is neat but it can be a bit hard to pull off gracefully. I actually hired a decorator once and she came out and started telling me that my antiques were not all from the same period. So what? The average person wouldn't even know that, much less care. And if their opinions are THAT critical, surely they can find their way back to the front door. That said, I think it's lovely that you're decorating with the tings you love. Ultimately it's YOU who needs to be pleased with your own home -- and you do have a lovely home. If the wall makes you feel good when you look at it, then you've reached your goal. If it makes your guests feel good, that's a bonus. Stairwells are a bear to decorate, I think. I wish they would do a few HGTV shows on stairwells and teensy weensy entry halls/foyers. One of these days we should have a big ol' thread on stairwells and teensy landings. My front door comes in at my landing and I don't have pretty railings like you do. I just have a half wall with a cap of wood on it. What does one do with that? I lack the skills or I'd whip out a saw and rectify that problem. Good luck with getting the arrangement just the way you want it, and please post pictures when you're done.

LOL What a nut! Does Eddie fetch? Our Miss (Doxie too) doesn't like it outside when its cold at all! She shouldn't be living in ND. She loves heat and will go lay on the hot sidewalk and soak up sun! (til she gets hot!) Now Mac the Chihuahua whom you'd think would be hating cold doesn't seem to mind it like Miss does! Hmmmm maybe its my dogs that are nuts? LOL

I think he actually liked his bath and you are one lucky MOMMY!! Our dogs HATE their baths and make no bones about it...unhappy forlorn faces...AHHHH but when it's over they love it...and make sure their human owners are dooly drenched!!

I call the dogs into the bathroom and shut the door so, no on can escape. I have a hand held shower and I sit in the shower with the dogs to bath them in my Swim Suit. That way I don't get a "ring" around the tub. (And my Back doesn't hurt from bending over.) Shower them one at a time and towel them off. Lay the towel in the floor and they dry themselves the rest of the way. Then I take off my Swim Suit and shower. By that time everyone is dry enough to go into other parts of the house. Then they go wild.

He sure smells nice today. I used Axe on him, works good on dogs too! Haha!

My dog Molly loves bathsa, I let her stand in the tub and use the sprayer. I also do a no-no. I use human baby shampoo on her. It makes her smell so good! I asked my vet and was told human shampoo is bad, too strong.

I think Stanley smells like a rose! (That's what we say after bath time.) And yes, he looks quite content to sit there and soak. He needs a mask and pillow, though.
