Hello Duane Collie From The Keeping Room, i Had the walnut veneer Lacquered finish walnut table ruined by Pledge. The description of the table says “Solid Eucalyptus wood and engineered wood with walnut veneer, covered in a water based dark walnut finish.“ West Elm who I purchased the table from advised me to contact the Furniture Medic - this is a franchised furniture repair business. Hmmm. Awaiting their call. Home Depot in California does not carry mineral spirits, but my woodworking neighbor has Klean Strip- Xylol-Xylene and V.M. &P Naphtha. wouldnt these ruin the veneer? His wife thought I need to oil the table to dissolve the pledge- she gave me jojoba oil! i am afraid I will ruin the table even more...what are your thoughts?

I hate to tell you this, but you have to send it in to have the belt changed Sheesh. Because of all the copy cats dyson's are made so the consumer cannot change the belts. At least that's the way it was five years ago. Luckily mine was just under 5 years old and still covered by the warranty when it happened so I didn't have to pay to have it sent in. I would have been without a vacuum for weeks so I headed to Tar--- and got Bissell's lift off multi cyclonic vacuum for pets. I love it as much, if not more than, my dyson and it only cost $149 on sale. Reg price $180. They have a newer model now which I'll link to below. It's only around $130 at WM. I'll never buy a dyson again because I refuse to pay that much for a vacuum and then have to send it across the country for something that should easily be done by the consumer, like changing a belt. Oh, and we have four long haired cats so I need something that really sucks! And Bissell is every bit as good as the more expensive dyson. In this case, try to find: >>> Gaardz, by Zinsser. Have it tinted with Black, up to the limit of 2 oz./gallon I believe. Check on can though! >>> BIN primer by Zinsser. Smelly, but very effective at blocking glue bleed-through. Tint this with black colorant too...check the limit. >>> 123-Latex primer by Zinsser. Have this tinted with 2 oz. of Black per gallon. From the pictures, doesn't look like anything is really wrong. Old leaves are supposed to droop and die, then new ones replace them. The Pleiospilos with the flower bud is blooming out of season so it's all mixed up, plus it needs full sun to get the blooms to open, plus it likely is in root shock from the repotting so no surprise it isn't performing at its best. You really should put each plant into its own pot, they don't all share the same growing needs so you can't really take care of them properly that way. Second thing is try to ID what you have and learn about their growth needs. Reading and learning is the key. Don't be discouraged by the inevitable early failures. Read more about appropriate soil mixes, pots, sun and temperatures. If you have the ability to grow these outdoors they will be much healthier than indoors. Succulents are not good houseplants. They are good at tolerating poor conditions but that doesn't necessarily make them for a windowsill. x
