I really don't know how to go about telling everyone of my experiences,

With my visit from Lakemayor and husband. ( Karen and Steve )

Don't like to talk negative about anyone, unless they deserve it !!!

But I'll Roast them, a little.

Got a call from Karen, saying they left Jim's( Jimster)and would be there Monday about 4:30 pm.

Monday morn about 11 am Karen called again, said they were running late and would be there about 5: 30.

Really aggravating !!! Because I was supposed to take them out for Dinner.

I better quit, before someone get upset.

The truth is, I was happy to here from them, because I didn't know if they ever received my emails.

Jimster - Jim had sent her my Cell number. Thanks Jim !

Glad they would be there at 5:30 pm because , now that gave me just enough time,

to make Cinnamon Buns ( Sinbuns ) which they don't have in Michigan.

and a loaf of Twisted Bread.

When they arrived , we chatted a bit and because I had a lot of food prepared, enough for a week !!!

they suggested that we eat here, instead of going out to eat.

I felt a little guilty but after I saw the way Karen put it away, the guilt left.

Man, I'm going to get it.

Really , You don't visit an Italian household without feeling like you are going to explode

and will not eat again for another year.

We had Rigatoni with Meat Sauce,

Italian Mild Sausage and Meat Balls.

This was my best sauce ever, loaded with a generous amount of Chopped Sausage and Meatballs.

Side was a Chefs Salad, w. Pepperoni, 3 types of Olives, sliced Red Peppers,

Agio and Sharp Provolone Cheese.

I used hearts of Iceberg Lettuce and Sliced Onions. Drizzled with EVOO and

Sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese , Garlic Powder and Basil.

Opps!!! I forgot the Red Wine ! We drank that.

After that we had the Cinnamon Buns and Coffee.

Steve made Karen look like a Girl Scout.

He ate a pretty good bit, then kept cutting off pieces,

saying that looks crooked Lou, I'll straighten it out.

Sure !!! 5 times later , it was finally straightened out.

All kidding aside, we shared a great meal and fun company.

And they wound up staying overnight !!!

But I wonder why they couldn't eat breakfast ??? In the morning.

We had just enough time to take a ride to Hickory Run State Park.

I wanted them to see at least one tourist attraction.

We went all the way back into Boulder Field. They had never seen anything like this.

Then we had to get back, so they could get on the road to home.

I told Karen "wait til you see what I put in the CF "

I believe Steve said he was a Psychologist but he couldn't figure me out.

He probably will go to see one of his colleagues, to get his head straightened out.

Hope everyone knows , I'm just kidding.

I really couldn't have met any nicer people. Glad they could make it to swing by,

on their way home.

BUT I Wish, they could have stayed longer.

I'll leave some room for Karen to talk about their visit.

She has some Photo's to Post, probably in a day or two.
