off centered window - what to do?

No pics yet but over my camel back sofa is a window that is off to the left of center. This room used to be a car port and the ceiling slants from one side to the other but not by much. I am thinking the drapery pole will appear crooked when I hang it up level on the wall. I have a 5' wide Kirsch wood pole and neutral drapes. The walls will be painted BM Cocoa Sand. Do I center the pole over the window and use art to balance the wall? Or do I move the pole over to the right more, enough to cover the window yet fool the eye into thinking the window is centered? trouble is this - not sure the 5' long pole is long enough to create that illusion. Anyone else here deal with off centered windows, crooked looking ceilings?

Thanks.
