Needing the Prayer Warriors

I haven't been on the KT for a few weeks. About two months ago Jim had Perifial Artery Surgery in his right leg. When they were going in to clear the blockage they found two blood clots and he spent three days in ICU. Then they did the surgery. A few weeks after that he was in a lot of pain again on the right leg. He went back for an ultra-sound. Nothing was found. Then to the Cancer Center for Chemo treatment. This was the day before Thanksgiving and the Oncologist wanted an MRI ASAP. The only place where they had an opening was in the next city. They made a copy and sent it to the Oncologist. Before we were even home he called and told us to get back to him, it wasn't good. They sent him to an Orthopedic surgeon who did an X-ray. The femur was about to break. Because he is on Blood Thinner he had to sit still for a week until the med. was out of his system. Then he had the surgery. The ball that goes into the hip socket crumbled when they took it out. Cancer. He had to stop the Chemo for six weeks. We went back last week and they did blood work and a PET Scan. He has Cancer cells on his left jaw, his shoulder, two on his spine and one next to his kidney. The Oncologist wasn't very encouraging, so we go to Tampa tomorrow to Moffitt for a second opinion and maybe they can come up with something. In an hour we go to get an ultrasound on his right leg again. It is giving him problems. I know this is long but there is a lot going on. Please keep Jim in your prayers. As you can probably imagine, his family is very worried. I am so happy that I have my faith and my prayers, but this is really a trial. Thank you for listening and thank you in advance for your prayers.
