So very, very sorry to hear this; sorry for your dear DIL but sorry for you as well as you are suffering such sadness. Let's just hope she can be helped; modern medicine is wonderful. Do keep us all posted, please, Kathi.

You got it, Kathi. She's been through so much, but I'm sure she counts herself lucky to have a supportive family and loving mother-in-law.

That poor woman. She needs a break. Sometimes it seems that bad things just keep happening to some people, and its often those who usually deserve better. I had a sister like that. I'll be sending good thoughts and prayers her way.

Sending prayers on the way for the family and medical staff to find a solution. My son in law had a bleeding brain stroke 3 years ago and the surgeon in San Francisco put in a shunt and that seems to help even those he is partially paralyzed . He is walking with a walker and had improved greatly. Again a good neurologist is the way to go.

My prayer has just been said for your dear daughter-in-law. Then another for you and your son and the doctors.

Thank you all so very much.We're firm believers in answered prayers.Her name is Christine,and my son's name is Bruce.

I told dh tonight that she doesn't deserve all these problems,as she is the nicest one in her whole family,and that includes her mom.

When she had the brain cancer,her mom lived and worked right here in town,and when I called her from the hospital to let her know what was going on,she didn't even bother to come by the hospital to see her,til a few days later,same when I had to rush her back as she was losing spinal fluid thru the incision.I never had much use for her after that..Her mom is one of those moms where it's all about her,yet she expects her kids to drop whatever they're doing and come to her aid,when she needs help.

I have no time or patience for people like that!!I'll keep you all updated,as to how she is doing,and how they plan to fix it.

Prayers have been said for all of you. The good Lord willing, another miracle will come Christine's way. She has had more than her fair share of troubles. Yes, she's lucky to have you and I suspect she's a very special person for you to love and care for her the way you do. I'm praying you give us some good news in your update.

So sorry to hear such terrible news for you DIL Kathy but will pray that she gets "fixed" right away. I am so amazed at all the wonderful things going on in medicine and hopefully that will help with her bleed...sending lots of prayers her way.
