My sister is having heart surgery in the morning.She is a diabetic and has lung disease. They will be replacing a heart valve that is only operating at 40%. With her lung condition this is very serious but necessary. Please keep her in your prayers.

I just posted this for Anne's sister, and I'll paste it here. My sister just finished radiation treatments for her 2nd round of breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy on both of them. Followed by chemo on the first one, (16 yrs ago). The 2nd one was caught very early, and is called breast calcification. It's like little flecks/freckles of it in an area. They did the lumpectomy on it, but the Dr. didn't get the clear margins he wanted, so she had to go back right after Christmas and have more taken out until he was satisfied with the margins. My special thoughts going out to your Terry for a successful outcome. I hope all is well this morning. I spent yesterday with a cousin whose husband had a liver transplant about 9 years ago. He has done wonderfully and is working, leading a normal life. Yes, miracles do happen.

Thank you for your prayers and please keep them going.When Jim woke up this morning his right leg was really giving him a lot of pain. We were at the hospital and he went in for surgery. It took longer than they said it would so we were getting worried. The doctor finally came out and told us there was a problem. When they went in to fix the blockage,it turned out that the stint that they had put in earlier was was completely blocked and they couldn't get the catheter in, so they put him in ICU and he was put on an ultrasound and a blood thinner and some other meds. to hopefully get the clot cleared. He has some feeling coming back into his right foot and they said that was a good thing. If all goes well during the night they will take him down in the morning and try to finish the surgery. Please keep the prayers going.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I know that they were heard. Diane came through the surgery well. They replaced the valve and they had to do one bypass. They let us see her when she got into ICU. She will probably be there through tomorrow. I just talked to the nurse and they say she is still pretty sedated but they hope to have her sitting up by tomorrow. The first 24 hours are critical, so please keep the prayers going, I know He is listening.Thank you for being here with me.
